Introduction:

In a continuing effort to introduce unique, high performing silicone masterbatches, SilCoTec is pleased to offer a full line of Glow Masterbatches. The Glow masterbatches range from Glow-in-the-Dark to UV\Black Light specialty dispersions, each having their individual properties and glow profile.

Uses & Applications:

The Glow Masterbatches can be used in a variety of applications, including:

• Applications where it is desirable to see all or part of the silicone rubber in a dark or Ultraviolet\Black Light environment. The glow can even be used to highlight a company’s name or logo.
• In cases where multiple parts may be required to have glow characteristics, it is possible to use SilCoTec’s Glow masterbatches for identification purposes because each SilCoTec Glow masterbatch glows a different color.
• It is possible to use SilCoTec’s UV\Black Light Glow masterbatches in topical or cosmetic type applications.
• In applications requiring an even coating of silicone onto a substrate, SilCoTec’s Glow masterbatches can be used as a Quality tool to ensure that the desired coating has been achieved. Substrate examples such as fabrics, plastics, or papers (magazines) can utilize this aspect of SilCoTec’s Glow Masterbatches as a measure of Quality and Consistency.
  

Special Applications:

The Glow Masterbatches can be customized in many ways, including, but not limited to:

• High Consistency Masterbatches or Liquid Dispersion Masterbatches
• For Liquid Dispersions, Viscosity and\or loading customizations.
• For Liquid Dispersions and High Consistency Masterbatches, the Carrier used can be customized to fit the application and need.
• FDA & Medical (non-implantable) compliant applications.
• Multiple glow parts can be uniquely identified
